The brief letter written by Alert Citizen in his words………………………..

Recently, I read in a newspaper that Elephant which is protected under Wildlife Protection Act, is been band in Mumbai city. This is to inform you that an Elephant is been spotting some time in L.B.S. Marg or in market areas of Bhandup & Mulund, it is been using for begging purpose and due to which there are traffic problem too. As per information the owner of the Elephant is been residing in Mulund (West) area itself which your office can easily trace it.

So I request you to kindly take strong action against the owner of the elephant who is been using for begging purpose under the various section of Wildlife Protection Act and remove out of the city to prevent any major accident to human and as well as to the elephant in future.
