An Alert Citizen Parimal Raj have spotted this elephant been used for begging in Pune  –  Anand Nagar (Near Jagtap Hospital, Anand Nagar, Sinhagad Road Manik Baug and surrounding areas) area, following to the information along with photograph, Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai SAVE JUMBO Team have send an written complaint to Senior Police Inspector - Dattawadi Police Station and Range Forest Officer – Pune, copy of it was forwarded to all the senior law enforcement authorities.

PAWS-Mumbai also receiving regular calls from Pune regarding elephant been used for begging.

As an Alert Citizen Parimal Raj and PAWS-Mumbai’s Save Jumbo Team have done our duty, now it the duty of law enforcement agencies to act on our complaint.  

Now it’s time to say.........Dear Authorities don’t sit and watch, OPEN Your Eyes and ACT!
