An Alert Citizen Hemant Bhor Harshal Sonwane & Prashant Pounikar have spotted
this elephant been used for begging in Thane Dist. – Ulhasnagar
(17 Section, Shriram Talkies, Eagle Photo Studios, Near Railway Station and
surrounding areas) area, following to the information along with photograph,
Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai SAVE JUMBO Team have send an
written complaint to Senior Police Inspector - Vithalwadi
Police Station and Range Forest Officer – Kalyan, copy of it was
forwarded to all the senior law enforcement authorities.
PAWS-Mumbai also receiving regular calls from Ulhasnagar
regarding elephant been used for begging.
As an Alert Citizen Hemant Bhor, Harshal Sonwane , Prashant Pounikar and PAWS-Mumbai’s Save
Jumbo Team have done our duty, now it the duty of law enforcement agencies to
act on our complaint.
