Alert Citizen spotted elephant been tied near a tree in Mumbai - Dahisar

An Alert Citizen and DNA Photo Journalist Shraddha Bhargava Chaturvedi (Published in DNA Mumbai 14^th July 2013) Spotted elephant Lakshmi 20 Years owned by SABHASHANKAR B. PANDEY, was found tied near a tree at Dahisar East.  

PAWS-Mumbai regular receiving calls from Dahisar regarding elephant has been used for begging Near Railway Station and surrounding areas. Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai SAVE JUMBO Team have send an written complaint to Senior Police Inspector - Dahisar Police Station and Range Forest Officer – Mumbai, copy of it was forwarded to all the senior law enforcement authorities.

As an Alert Citizen Shraddha Bhargava Chaturvedi and PAWS-Mumbai Save Jumbo Team have done our duty, now it the duty of law enforcement agencies to act on our complaint. 

Now it’s time to say.........Dear Authorities don’t sit and watch, OPEN Your Eyes and ACT!
