Alert Citizen spotted elephant been used for begging in Thane – Vasai

An Alert Citizen Clotilda Dsouza have spotted this elephant been used for begging in Thane – Vasai West (Near Railway Station, Anand Nagar and surrounding areas) area, following to the information along with photograph, Plant & Animals Welfare Society – Mumbai SAVE JUMBO Team have send an written complaint to Senior Police Inspector - Manikpur Police Station and Range Forest Officer - Mandvi, copy of it was forwarded to all the senior law enforcement authorities.

PAWS-Mumbai also receiving regular calls from Vasai area regarding elephant been used for begging.

As an Alert Citizen Clotilda Dsouza and PAWS-Mumbai Save Jumbo Team have done our duty, now it the duty of law enforcement agencies to act on our complaint.  

Now it’s time to say.........Dear Authorities don’t sit and watch, OPEN Your Eyes and ACT!
